Copy of Introduction
The infinitrac platform has a powerful Search Module. This module can be accessed from the menu on left side of the application and from the header at the top of the application(images attached).
Action Buttons such as Copy/Cut/Delete/Associate are protected by provisioned role. If action is granted by a role, the respective button is in enabled state.
A popular search use case can be: Document Controller performs Historical discovery to establish out thread of communication between multiple parties, for a legal dispute.
Please note, that the file indexing operation runs as a background task after uploading files. Search results might not be readily available.
The Search Module supports search by attributes, such as Name, Description, Date Created, etc, and the actual text content.
