Submittals Attributes

Name

Sequential title of the Submittal Report, based on an established folder prefix. This field is required and cannot be left empty. Maximum length is 25 characters. Only alphanumeric characters, spaces, dashes, and dots are allowed.

Subject

Provides a brief description or purpose of the Submittal. If provided, this value is used as the subject line in email notifications. The field accepts 3 to 128 characters, including alphanumeric characters, spaces, dots, commas, and punctuation marks. This field is optional

Priority

Describes the sensitivity of the Submittal’s content. If set, the Priority value is used as the email priority when sending the Submittal. This field is optional

Discipline

Input field to select the discipline associated with the Submittal. Users can choose an existing option or add a new one. This field is optional

Date Required

Indicates the required date for the Submittal.

Date Returned

Timestamp indicating when the Submmital was returned

Reference Drawing

Reference Drawing for Submittals.

Contractor Submittal Number

Contractor’s reference number for the Submittal.

Status

Represents the current status of the Submittal. Users can select an existing option or add a new one. This field is optional

TO Company

Identifies the company to which the Submittal is assigned or addressed

Responsible Engineer

Person assigned to manage the Submittal.

Reference Specification

Specification referenced in the Submittal

Assigned To

Identifies the user responsible for managing or reviewing the Submittal.

Date Closed

Timestamp indicating when no further work is required to complete the Submittal process. This is set when the Submittal status is changed to “Closed.”

Date Sent

Timestamp indicating when the Submittal was sent to recipients. This field cannot be edited.

Date Filed

Timestamp indicating when the Submittal was first added to the system. This field cannot be edited.

Date Modified

Timestamp indicating the last time the Submittal was modified. This field cannot be edited.

Description

A detailed description of the Submittal, explaining its purpose. The field accepts between 3 and 1500 characters and supports any characters, including HTML or RTF-formatted text.

Modified By

User who last modified the Submittal

Age

Indicates how many days have passed since the Submittal was sent. If the Submittal is closed, age is calculated as the number of days between the Date Sent and Date Closed.
