Copy/Paste Files

Depending of your privileges, a file can be duplicated from the folders the user have access to, with the copy function. Since copy action is protected by Role Permission to secure the file(s), the user need to have the copy role enabled in the file role section.

 To duplicate one or more file(s):

  1. Select the folder containing the file(s) to be copied.

  2. In the List View, click the checkbox(es) next to the file(s) to be duplicated.

  3. Click "Copy" button.

  4. Select the folder to paste the file(s) into.

  5. Click “Paste” button.

Items copied successfully will display the next message: “2 Item(s) Copied To Clipboard”

“Copy” button is disabled until one or more file(s) is selected.

“Paste” button is disabled, until one or more file(s) are copied to the Clipboard.

Once file(s) pasted to a new location, a success alert message will appear on the top right hand corner with message: “Item(s) Pasted successfully“

File(s) selection is not preserved, after user successfully pastes the file(s) into other folder path and it´s currently allowed within the same project.
