Copy/Paste Revision(s)

Depending of your privileges, a revision can be duplicated from the folders the user have access to, with the copy function. Since copy action is protected by Role Permission to secure the revision(s), the user need to have the copy role enabled in the revision role section.

 To duplicate one or more revision(s):

  1. Select the folder containing the revision(s) to be copied.

  2. Click on the "Rev Count" button of the file to copy the revision from

  3. Click the checkbox(es) next to the revision(s) to duplicate.

  4. Click "Copy" button.

  5. Select the file to paste the revision(s) into.

  6. Click on the "Rev Count" button of the file to paste the revision into.

  7. Click “Paste” button.

Items copied successfully will display the next message: “2 Item(s) Copied To Clipboard”

“Copy” button is disabled until one or more revision(s) is selected.

 

“Paste” button is disabled, until one or more revision(s) are copied to the Clipboard.

Once revision(s) pasted to a new location, a success alert message will appear on the top right hand corner with message: “Item(s) Pasted successfully“

revisions selection is not preserved, after user successfully pastes the revisions into other folder path and it´s currently allowed within the same project.
