Cut/Paste Incoming Transmittal(s)

Depending on the user’s privileges, an Incoming Transmittal can be moved between folders the user has access to via the cut function. In order to use cut function the user must have the cut permission enabled.

To cut one or more Incoming Transmittal(s):

Select the folder containing the Incoming Transmittal(s) to be moved.
In the List View, click the checkbox(es) next to the Incoming Transmittal that are to be moved.
Click Cut button.
Select the folder to paste the Incoming Transmittal(s) into.
Click Paste button.

Items cut successfully will display the message: “2 Item(s) Cut To Clipboard“.

Cut button is disabled until one or more Incoming Transmittal(s) is selected.

Paste button is disabled until one or more Incoming Transmittal(s) is cut to the Clipboard.

Once Incoming Transmittal(s) is moved to a new lcoation a success message will appear on the top right hand corner with the message: “Item(s) Pasted successfully“.

Incoming Transmittal's selection is not preserved after user successfully pastes the Incoming Transmittals into the other folder path. Moving Incoming Transmittals is currently allowed only within the same project.

Moving Incoming Transmittals will update Incoming Transmittal’s Date Modified and Modified By attributes. To update Name prefix and numbering, Cut and Update option can be used when Update Name - Attribute Value dialog is displayed.
