Cut/Paste QIR(s)

Depending of your privileges, a Quality Incident Report (QIR) can be moved between the folders the user have access to, with the cut function. Since cut action is protected by Role Permission to secure the QIR(s), the user need to have the cut role enabled in the QIR role section.

To cut one or more QIR(s):

Select the folder containing the QIR(s) to be moved.
In the List View, click the checkbox(es) next to the QIR(s) to move.
Click "Cut" button.
Select the folder to paste the QIR(s) into.
Click “Paste” button.

Items cut successfully will display the next message: “2 Item(s) Cut To Clipboard”.

“Cut” button is disabled until one or more QIR(s) is selected.

“Paste” button is disabled, until one or more QIR(s) are cut to the Clipboard.

Once QIR(s) moved to a new location, a success alert message will appear on the top right hand corner with message: “Item(s) Pasted successfully“

QIR(s) selection is not preserved, after user successfully pastes the QIR(s) into other folder path. Moving QIR(s) is currently allowed only within the same project.

Moving QIR(s) will update QIR(s) Date Modified, and Modified By attributes and does not change the QIR name/prefix automatically.
